Awesome night of classic rock
From 7pm to 11pm, three great bands played. Everyone danced, screamed, sang, and wanted more from each act. How often do you see the pavilion packed for the first band and a two-song standing ovation encore from the first act! Styx did a great job, REO followed it up with a great set kicking your butt and then the Motorcity Madman came out locked, cocked and ready to rock. This had to be one of his best performances, I have seen Ted every year since 1978. Derek was the best I have ever seen him playing and singing his butt off. Ted played stuff like Gonzo, Live it up & Turn it up along with one of the best Fred Bear performances I have yet to see. Ted and Derek with Mick and Greg slammed it hard to close with a huge Stranglehold with solos from Ted, Derek, and Greg! Everyone stood.
